Christmas Characters….Who’s Your Favorite?!?!
One of the most joyous parts of Christmas is the characters that remind us of this time of year. There are many movies, plays, food etc. that gets families into the holiday spirit.
Personally my all time favorite Christmas character is Jack Frost! Growing up in the North, snow was the final touch for the holiday season. Jack Frost represents the ice, sleet, snow and all around freezing temperatures out doors. As a child this translated to a nice cozy day inside with family watching Christmas movies and drinking hot chocolate (which is delicious).
Jack Frost does have the reputation of being a mischievous character, BUT he has also played a hero. Frost is traditionally said to leave frosty, fern-like patterns on the windows. Good or bad, he reminds me of the extremely frigid winter resulting in a perfect excuse to stay indoors surrounded by those who we love the most!
